I am so grateful to have been honored by the City of Mesa, and the Mesa Public Library for my book, Heart to Heart with Abagaba for Black History Month. Young children are the greatest teachers when it comes to the topic of diversity. Their pure hearts and inclusive attitudes are beacons of light people from all walks of life can learn from. I love and appreciate all the many ways they have accepted me for all that I am. #CelebrateChildren
