My Short Story
About
I'm Abby Dominguez — a devoted mother of fraternal twins, a longtime nanny, and early childhood education teacher turned author. Some of the challenges I endured as a young child propelled me to believe that children deserve to be seen with eyes of compassion. My book, Heart-to-Heart with Abagaba - A Nanny/Teacher Reflection, is a heartfelt tribute to the children and caregivers I've had the pleasure of working with over the years.

In my second book, My Mom's Incredible Voice: A Memoir of Honoring My Parents, I recount the first time I heard my mother's voice in adulthood, after a three-decade separation. When not writing, I enjoy exploring the great outdoors and spending quality time with my family and friends. My work resonates with families and children who share her journey, offering guidance and inspiration.
